Abstract

Organophosphate (OP) insecticides are widely used in agricultural labor all over the world. Organophosphate intoxications are frequently observed in emergency services due to their common use. Although the effects of OP intoxications over the vestibulocochlear system were demonstrated in many animal studies, there are a limited number of studies in the literature on agricultural workers. In this review, we present the effects of OPs on the vestibulocochlear system in light of the current literature.
