Abstract
Vallecular cysts are benign laryngeal masses that rarely cause respiratory distress, stridor or swallowing difficulty, while often being asymptomatic. Asymptomatic vallecular cysts have rarely appeared in the literature as the reason of unexpected challenging intubation cases. In this article, we present a 62-year-old male patient who had a vallecular cyst that did not allow intubation for urologic operation in light of the recent literature.
