Abstract

Sialendoscopy is becoming increasingly popular in the diagnosis and treatment of major salivary gland stones. It is, however, often not possible to endoscopically extract stones that are larger than six millimeters with this technique. This situation poses a problem in parotid gland stones, which have potential risks for open surgery. In this study, we report three patients with parotid gland stones that were extracted with minimally invasive sialendoscopic combined approach.
