Abstract
Septal hematoma is a clinical condition characterized by swelling of blood between cartilage or bony nasal septum and mucoperichondrium or mucoperiosteum that often occurs after trauma or surgery. Spontaneous development of septal hematoma is a very rare clinical situation. In this article, we report a 69-year-old female patient who was admitted with a swollen nose at the front and increasing complaints of nasal obstruction and later underwent surgery with the diagnosis of spontaneous septal hematoma.
