Abstract

Nasal septal abscess is defined as a collection of pus between the cartilage or bony septum and the mucoperichondrium or mucoperiostium. Nasal septal abscess manifests itself most often with nasal congestion and pain. In this article, we report a 46-year-old male patient with a Pseudomonas aeruginosa induced septal abscess as a complication of septoplasty four months after the surgery. As far as we know, this is the latest reported septal abscess as a complication of septoplasty operation.
